While the rest of the world was watching Canada’s Hockey team (allegedly) beat the crap out of the guys from the south, I slapped together some samples.

It is heavily inspired by Juggaknots which I’ve been listening a lot to lately (Breezy Brewin’s flow is just one of a kind), and some Co-Flow / Mr. Len beats.
I’m using an acapella from Aesop Rock’s album None Shall Pass, Getaway Car, which was harder to use than expected. The original is 96 (ish) bpm, while this here is 85.
(When trying to illegally download the album, I ended up with the instrumentals. I first thought I’d been had by some smartass, but found myself delighted when playing those on my ipod.)
I eventually got it right when I synced up the instrumental of the song with my beat, then lined up the acapella to that, and removed the instrumental again. Fun times.
